Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. We use Google Analytics to count visits. When you first arrive, a bar asks whether we may set an analytics cookie. If you decline, or ignore it, the analytics tag does not run and no _ga cookie is stored. Your choice is kept in your own browser and you can change it by clearing this site’s data. We do not sell personal data.
Links to booking sites may carry tracking from those sites once we join their affiliate programmes. We have no paid partnerships at the moment, so no link on this site tracks you for us today. See the affiliate disclosure.
Contact form. When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent from this site’s own server to the editor’s mailbox. We do not use an outside form service, and we use what you send only to reply to you. A hidden field on the form catches automated spam; it collects nothing about you. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to us through the contact page.
