Japan Travel Notes has no paid partnerships at the moment. The booking sites we link to (Booking.com, Agoda, Klook, GetYourGuide, Airalo, Ubigi and others) do not pay us, and no company pays to be recommended or to be placed higher in a list.
We expect that to change: we intend to join the affiliate programmes of some of these platforms. When that happens, the links to that platform will be marked as sponsored, this page will say which companies we are paid by, and each article will carry the disclosure at the top. Nothing you pay changes either way.
What will not change: which platform we recommend for a job is decided on what it is actually good for, and we name platforms we are not paid by when they are the better choice.
